But I'm not sure. It's not like a Nicolas Sparks romance, but it does follow the arc of a romantic relationship. ?<br /><br />Here are some suggestions from me, based on what I remember from my adult fiction class.<br /><br />Horror: The Historian--Elizabeth Kostova (scared the crap out of me, but with a history/literary twist I think you'll appreciate) Which...now looking at your Goodreads...it appears you've already read.<br /><br />What about a Jasper Fforde book for fantasy? I really liked Shades of Grey. I'm also a big fan of Charles de Lint.
